The Alchemist program is a uniquely designed online experience that ensures you not only learn the techniques and skills to master soldering but also receive individualized support to address the mindset and circumstantial challenges that are unique to you. Gain the tools and confidence to tackle self-doubt, break through blocks, strengthen your boundaries, define your voice, and bring more self-awareness to the torch and beyond, all while you transform your creative visions into tangible, meaningful, deeply satisfying work.
Core modules, small-group training calls, 1:1 coaching sessions, priority support, and lifetime access* to both Solder School and all current Rosy Revolver online courses.
Please see Q&A section below for additional information + details.
This approach ensures that you have the technical skills, self-awareness, growth mindset, and support necessary for true transformation at the torch and beyond. It’s a full-circle learning experience that empowers you to confidently address challenges, elevate your craft, and consistently create your best work.
The combination of prerecorded videos for learning core skills as well as live, small-group calls for collaborative problem-solving and support, is enhanced by 1:1 coaching, where you receive specific, actionable insights on both your technical processes and creative practice. This feedback loop accelerates learning and heightens self-awareness, helping you refine techniques, troubleshoot roadblocks, and build confidence at the torch, all while being supported in a personalized way.
The Alchemist tier is the uppermost level of the Solder School Program.
For answers to questions about Solder School in general, please see the Q&A on the main Solder School program page.
The Artisan level includes all components of the core learning modules as well as:
(4) 90-minute 1:1 sessions with Jess to be used within three months of the program start date
6 months of access to recordings of your 1:1 coaching calls for reference and implementation
Direct email communication with me for support/assistance between coaching calls
(4) 2-hour live small-group coaching calls, which will include mindset work as well as discussions around the course modules, Q&A, and troubleshooting
Replays of the live small-group calls, which will be added to your program contents as they're recorded every other week
A Priority SS facebook group for Artisan and Alchemist students only (20 members max), to foster an environment for deeper learning. This means less noise and competition for getting posts seen and questions answered, as well as a deliberately intimate community for sharing challenges related to all aspects of designing and building the work and life you envision.
Additional mindset and self-awareness resources
Lifetime* access to the Solder School program contents
Lifetime* access to all current Rosy Revolver online courses
A fun welcome gift from me, mailed to you the old fashioned way
The Alchemist Tier offers indefinite* access to both the complete Solder School program as well as all nine online classes currently within the existing course library.
Please note: This bonus offer does not include free access to new, future courses.
*indefinite, or "lifetime" access denotes access for as long as Jess continues to offer online courses.
Lifetime access simply means that students will be provided with all of the original content and materials included in the purchased course or program for as long as Jess continues to offer online training.
A NOTE ON PRODUCT PRICING & CONTENT: Over time, Solder School will continue to be improved and further developed. Content will be added, refined, and pricing will increase. Alchemist-level students will maintain access to the program as it was designed at the time of purchase. Those who would like access to the new materials, trainings, and resources- including any new online courses offered outside of Solder School- will have the option to upgrade for a price that reflects the difference between the original and new tuition, but will not pay for the entire program again.
All three tiers- Apprentice, Artisan, and Alchemist- are built around Solder School's nine core training modules, which focus specifically on technique. While the Artisan Level blends this skill-centered approach with the benefits of small-group support and live training calls, the Alchemist Tier lasers in on you, the maker, and your specific challenges. We work together over (4) 90-minute sessions to get clear on your current struggles, shift any limiting stories and beliefs, define your goals, and work towards all that's possible for you as a metalsmith, an artist, and a creative individual looking to live a more intentional, fully integrated life.
This tier is for intermediate and advanced smiths who are ready to step into personal and technical transformation. Those who are willing to do the deep work of developing self-awareness, breaking old thought patterns and habits, and who are committed to showing up consistently for themselves and their art, are the ones who will benefit the most from this level of learning.
Modules are collections of related lessons. To maintain a steady learning pace, encourage active practice, and prevent overwhelm, modules are released on a weekly cadence (except week one, which will include two modules). Each module is built of numerous lessons which may include any of the following formats: pre-recorded demonstrations and/or discussions, PDF guides, shopping resources, and interactive virtual tools.
Students in the Artisan and Alchemy tiers will find the dates and times for live calls within their course portal. Scheduling will be approximately every other week, spaced out sufficiently for modules to be released and reviewed before each upcoming Zoom session. Times will vary in an attempt to accommodate various schedules and availabilities. All live calls will be recorded and added to the course contents for later viewing and reference.
Each call will be approximately 2 hours, depending on the number of students who attend and the questions that arise. The format will follow a mindset-mechanics-mindset pattern, so that each call focuses on both technical and cognitive approaches to soldering success.
Alchemist-level students will be provided with a scheduling link inside their course portal. This link opens up a digital calendar prepopulated with the dates and times Jess is available for 1:1 coaching calls, from which students can select the option that best suits them.
These links are scattered throughout the course modules to intentionally regulate and pace the 1:1 coaching sessions, ensuring that they're spaced out sufficiently for all modules to have been addressed as needed within the coaching sessions.
All Artisan and Alchemist level students will be provided a link within the course to join this private community of no more than 20 participants. The SS Priority group will be checked and questions answered twice a day, Monday through Friday, during the eight weeks that new modules drop. After this "active" period concludes, instructor check-ins will continue to occur on a regular, though less frequent basis. The group will be archived on August 4, 2026, one year after the course start date. At that point, members can still search and view all posts, but new comments and posting will be disabled.
Yes. Note: You are encouraged but not required to post your technique questions inside the SS Priority Facebook group, where queries and answers will benefit everyone; however, you are also welcome to email Jess throughout this program, and will be doing so anyway as part of the 1:1 coaching component.
